WHERE THE WATER LILIES GROW

Something called my name
Out where the water lilies grow
I wade into the water
The mud runs deep below

There is so much in the air out there
Thoughts grow shiny wings
My heart has been defeated
I feel the black flies sting

When the pond is brushed with snow
